If you have an Amazon Fire TV Stick and a tablet, you might be wondering how to use them together. In this blog post, we will show you how to connect your Fire TV Stick to your tablet and enjoy streaming your favorite shows and movies on a bigger screen.
There are two ways to use your Fire TV Stick with your tablet: mirroring and casting. Mirroring means that you can see the same content on both devices, while casting means that you can send content from your tablet to your Fire TV Stick and control it from there. Here are the steps for each method:
Mirroring:
- Make sure your Fire TV Stick and your tablet are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- On your Fire TV Stick, go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Enable Display Mirroring.
- On your tablet, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap on the Screen Mirroring icon. If you don't see it, you might need to enable it in the settings first.
- Select your Fire TV Stick from the list of available devices and wait for the connection to be established.
- You should now see your tablet's screen mirrored on your TV. You can use your tablet as usual and watch anything you want on the big screen.
Casting:
- Make sure your Fire TV Stick and your tablet are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- On your tablet, open an app that supports casting, such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, etc.
- Tap on the Cast icon in the app and select your Fire TV Stick from the list of available devices.
- You should now see the app's content playing on your TV. You can use your tablet as a remote control and browse, pause, play, rewind, etc.
